CORONATION CAKE COMPETITION
Use your culinary creativity and bake a cake fit for a KING!
This competition is open to all Strensham bakers of all abilities to create cakes 'fit for a king' whilst showing off your baking and cake decorating skills!
All cakes will be judged on 8th May 2023 at the community picnic.
(Please bring your cake to the cake table in the marquee on the day no later than 1:00pm)
There will be prizes for the winner and runner up.
Will you be our Strensham star baker?
Judging Criteria
1. Originality and creativity of design / interpretation of the theme
2. Overall visual impact
3. Taste and texture
Everyone at the picnic will be invited to have a slice of cake after the judging!
(Please make sure if you are using nuts in your recipes that you include this alongside your creation when you show your cake. Please label your cake with your name, number of your house and street.)
OTHER EVENTS
Children are invited to design and make a crown at home to bring to the picnic with optional fancy-dress - prizes for the winner and runner up.
Fun games and races for adults and children including sack racing, egg toss and welly wanging with prizes for the winners.
